My story

From a young age I have had a passion for creating and learning how to draw. From drawing my horses as a teen to using drawing skills within education settings, it has always been a passion.
In 2016 I was unfortunately diagnosed with epilepsy. It was a stressful time as a wife and a mother of two, I was unable to drive or continue my career. I was suddenly limited and had to change my way of life.
I decided I needed to embrace the opportunity to learn more about what I was really interested in, so I bought some pencils and let my creative side emerge.
I have never looked back. I sold my first pet portrait commission which continue to be popular and I have appreciated making every one of them.
Due to their popularity I have since practiced to specialise in pet portrait commissions and I have also taken on many watercolour and ink commissions. I also create original collections throughout the year in oils, watercolour, and acrylic.
I have had to accept my disability and learn to work with what I can. I am still capable, can work from my beautiful home and have the best husband and children who have been my biggest cheerleaders.
I have also been lucky enough to provide videos for additional needs students art classes in Birmingham and have sold my art in shops and galleries in the UK.
I have even printed art onto bags, mugs and cushions to make an extra meaningful gift and been lucky enough to work with dressmakers where my art was printed onto beautiful children's clothes. Where will this journey take me next?
